Proverbs 22:6   Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

It’s time for summer camp!

Down on the Farm Preschool and Child Care are preparing to kick off another awesome summer at DOTF Summer Camp! We have many hands-on experiences and challenges that will keep your children physically active and having fun! We provide plenty of opportunities for the children to explore the outdoors.  We believe that being outdoors is vital to the health and well-being of children.  We offer real-life experiences:  feeding and taking care of the farm animals, nature walks, gardening and pond life.  We use the outdoors as our Science lab.  Our many adventures outdoors play a big role in our Preschool and Child Care Centers.

“Down on the Farm is One of a Kind”

As a working parent in higher education, understanding the value of an education is a top priority.

We are frequently questioned about daycare options by other new parents.  Without hesitation (and sometimes without being asked), I always share how lucky we are to have Down on the Farm where our two children, Stella and Athan have attended the last four years.

The experience they receive is one of a kind. They are outside on the farm taking nature hikes, visiting the farm animals, picking pumpkins, walking through corn mazes and taking tractor rides from Farmer Keith.  Most daycares will visit a farm for a field trip – well, every day at Down on the Farm is a field trip!  One of the most memorable experiences for Stella was ‘Goat Week’.  Not only did the kids learn about goats but they actually gave a goat a bath, walked the goat and even milked the goat!

I encourage you to take a tour and see for yourself!
