“Down on the Farm is One of a Kind”

As a working parent in higher education, understanding the value of an education is a top priority.

We are frequently questioned about daycare options by other new parents.  Without hesitation (and sometimes without being asked), I always share how lucky we are to have Down on the Farm where our two children, Stella and Athan have attended the last four years.

The experience they receive is one of a kind. They are outside on the farm taking nature hikes, visiting the farm animals, picking pumpkins, walking through corn mazes and taking tractor rides from Farmer Keith.  Most daycares will visit a farm for a field trip – well, every day at Down on the Farm is a field trip!  One of the most memorable experiences for Stella was ‘Goat Week’.  Not only did the kids learn about goats but they actually gave a goat a bath, walked the goat and even milked the goat!
